PDF to Markdown is a free browser-based utility for extracting selectable text from PDF files and exporting it as Markdown.
The converter uses PDF.js in your browser. Document bytes are not sent to our server by the conversion workflow. It supports multiple files, individual downloads, and a ZIP export. It does not perform OCR, reconstruct complex page layouts, or guarantee that headings, tables, columns, links, or reading order will be preserved. Review every result against the source document.
